Vince Staples debuts Chuck Taylor All Star at Converse

Converse has made their impression in shoe industry by their famous "
MADE BY YOU" strategy which has incorporated the personal effects of countless celebrities including Jack Purcell,
Chuck Taylor and Michael Jordan who had All stars converse as their everyday pull on. Recently Converse teamed up with rapper and media personality
Vince Staples in the celebration of his new album launch name "Big Fish Theory" .The partnership come with converse Chuck 70 Hi and the Chuck 70 Ox and commemorative hoodie.

Staples' version consists of orange accents, which nods to rapper's feature graphics from his 2017 album Big Fish Theory. The high-top sneaker has a black upper with orange detailing and egret stitching all over the shoe. The album’s artwork sited on the outsoles is doubtlessly the most prominent design details. These sneakers are built with an aquarium sock-liner and “Vince Staples” embroidered on the medial collar. Hoodie features with the "SEA" acronym on the back, a reference to Staples' Section Eight Arthouse radio show.
It was released on January 25 ranging from $90 USD- $110 USD retailed at
Converse.com and select stores, collection was sold out in the first week of its release.
Prior to the launch of collection a video was release by Converse directed by award-winning filmmaker Karim Huu which follows Vince Staples on a powerful journey through Los Angeles. It taps into the city’s diverse culture from the neighborhoods and how chucks have been a part of Vince's life and struggle.
Vince Staples was also featured previously in Converse's "Forever" series in 2017, where he highlighted the impact of the shoe to L.A. culture.
